Local Cinema Studios

Laura designed this idendity for Local Cinema Studios, a nonprofit organization combining the art of filmmaking with the importance of mentorship. LCS creates indie films with students, recent graduates and professionals that are ready to give back, advancing independent filmmaking by bridging the gap from academia to industry.

The identity is clean and direct, referencing videography in a minimal way that pairs well alongside the complex film imagery. Different forms of the recognizable logo allow it to be used creatively on many different types of materials, and the red circle reference to live recording has also been useful when most minimal branding is needed.
